The 2026 Criminal Justice Mental Health Conference (CJMHC-2026) Scholarship & Events Committee is pleased to share that four complimentary conference registration scholarships will be offered for selected undergraduates to attend the two-day event in Dallas, Texas. The scholarship includes the conference registration fee, conference meals, breakout sessions, welcome reception and Black-Tie gala.

CJMHC-2026 will bring state and federal government professionals together for unparalleled leadership and professional development, networking, and best-in-person breakout sessions that you won’t want to miss!

Please complete the form below.

Scholarship Requirements and Expectations 

  • Be currently enrolled in a criminal justice/criminology program at a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

  • Be a full-time undergraduate student with a minimum 3.5 GPA, or equivalent. 

  • Be able to attend the conference in its entirety.

  • Submit a cover letter of no more than 500 words 

    • General indication of desire to attend the CJMHC-2026;

    • Discussion of how the conference may help with professional development, networking, teaching, service, and/or research goals.

  • Provide a letter of recommendation. 

  • Upload Professional Headshot

  • Submit a copy of current official or unofficial transcript. 

Recipients will be notified upon CJMHC Scholarship & Events Committee approval on June 1, 2026.
